Happy Grandparents' Day

To celebrate, I made a card for my Mom.

I started with a layout template by Man in the Moon Designs; I shrunk it down and trimmed off the excess "white space" to fit onto a standard 4"x5.5" card. Connie Prince has a really great kit that has tons of great Grandparent wordart in it. Check out Ain't Life Grand?.

Being that my daughter is trying to lick my mother, the inside reads "I lick you very much"!

Cupcake Party Invite

Here's an invite for a cupcake party. I'm using this for a rainy day activity when just her and I are at home.  The card base is a 6x6 cards stock with a cupcake stamped background. The front is assembled with pop dots to add dimension. For the inside, I used the wavy blade in my cutter.

In honor of birthdays, I am going to be sharing a birthday memory with you. Now this really isn't a memory for me, but I find this picture hilarious for the following reasons:

1. I have a black eye- nothing says happy birthday like a black eye.

2. I see 4 candles on the cake and in the background there is a card with the #5 on it-
